well my now ex-favorite internet site wickedherbals is messing up. my friend is worked there he was a chemist. apparently the boss was very verbally abusive, no big deal. But a few days ago the line was crossed and he quit and got fired depending on who you ask. anyways the product amped is not the same anymore and the chemical supplier who gives them everything sent them 4kgs of what was supposed to be pvp. Of course him being a chemist and the boss being a salesman, there was a conflict. long story short wicked herbals product amped is not only compromised but is being made with unknown chemicals that smell like paint thinner. White water rapid on the other hand should be the same for awhile seeing as he already made a bunch. Amped original is now gone, and all the product being sent out as amped is being made with unknown active compound. one of my friends who I would consider a heavy weight tryed a small amount and immediately blew a snot rocket straight back out, he said he as never experienced anything like that, even worse than 4-FA the main component of crazy train. so anyways, if you have recieved or purchased amped anytime after Christmas (dec. 25) please leave a comment and review. Like I said my friend wont even try it after the first time and my chemist friend who worked there refused to make it the second he realized it was an unknown/ different chem than the previous one being used. SO please please leave a review of the new amped and like I said anything received after Christmas is undoubtedly the new amped. or if you are unsure or received it from a different distributor, leave the serial number and I will find out which one it is. cross your fingers maybe it was just an anomaly and it is still the same good product. but now instead of a chemist manufacturing the chemicals, a salesman is. yes, i just got an amped in the mail and i did notice a color change perhaps a little darker, but having purchased amped twice before thought it was the same quality. I was not unhappy with amped at all. Sounds like you may just be upset with the company because the product still rocks.
ReplyDeletewell that is good to hear, Because I too very much enjoy the product...If possible, please provide the serial number printed on the package this will accurately determine whether it is theh new amped or the old amped....and finally if it is the old amped be very careful when driving around with it ir taking it anywhere for that matter.... i was privileged to some quite alarming information, and without going into to much detail I would say be smart, because for some reason their is no lab report for amped. ReplyDeleteJust got my Amped order today and it is NOT the same as the color on this one is a dark beige brown. Distinct "cheese" odor and the texture is very dense somewhat "moist". Just did a test bath and waiting for the ladybugs...will follow up
ReplyDeleteok so this stuff is so moist its a pain in the ass. bathing effect is just fine. this beige/tannish clumpy stuff is very very very similar to an old pre-ban Lunar Wave formula (Amhico). Texture, odor, density, moisture, ..everything is the same. Hmmmmm..

ReplyDeleteFinally, someone who knows what they're talking about. So basically, you're saying Amped probably contains something it shouldn't. My next guess would be that some people are upset by this but the majority probably are not. (The problem is how they're administering it to their plants. i.e. It's like putting oil in your car; if you spill any your car will probably smoke temporarily, but proper administration makes your car run like a charm with no adverse effects.)

ReplyDeleteLet me clarify. This particular product will do more harm than good to your plants unless you use it when watering. It works excellently when properly applied, but you're not going to get good results unless used correctly. I'm very aware of who I'm talking to and I was offering advice on how to receive positive results.

ReplyDeleteThey say they are trying to make this right as quickly as possible. Sounds like a "copy and paste" response that everyone is getting. I agree though, the application of the product should not be the issue. I've never had to use the product during watering before, and it was sold to me as a powder.
ReplyDeletegot it as a sticky power then after a few days it became rubber glue-like. i tried to chop it up as best as i could. i still tested it and it still works. its strong but me being the person I am, "strong" is not always the best. I still use 8ballz because its just right for me. If amped next batch is powder i might buy it and test it out. - scottie thizzin

Previously I was a huge fan of eight ballz, but all of the new formula glass cleaner is a waste in my opinion. Including the 50 state legal "Rave On". Does anyone know if there's a difference in the product/packaging of eightballz? I'm seeing some in black pouches and some in silver pouches. Same price for both.
ReplyDeleteI Got Amped for the 1st time on 12-30. Not sure how the old formula should have looked like but this batch was slightly moist and globby but seemed to dry out after 24-48hrs with the cap left unscrewed. Works better than anything else post-ban IMO. I'm noticing 2 seperate powders in the new amped.... 1st is tan and clumpy, 2nd is white and pebble like. They seem to stick together at first but seperate easily when dried out. The white is some sort of numbing agent cuz my whole mouth went numb with a tiny bit on the tongue. Lasted about 20min. Did not order online, was found through a local vendor.

ReplyDeleteI have had both the tannish clumpy Amped Ladybug Attractant, and today when I went in and made another purchase the product had changed to a not-so sticky and much more practical white powder. either way AMPED in both forms are probably the best products of anything out there. The new white powder is slightly to moderately weakened compared to the gooey stuff, but It still works well. I'm thus far very VERY impressed with this product's ability to do its magic without causing any of the horrors that the now rightfully eliminated pre-ban products caused. If anything it promotes a degree stability, in contrast with the preban products which could really do serious harm. I could opine that this product worthy and reasonable to be available to the public. The worst I can say about this Amped is that it seems a bit harsh on your plant's mucous membranes AND... once those ladybugs arrive, They stay longer than the product does, and they will keep the plants in your garden kicking so make no mistake, this is no junk placebo post ban product. but something healthy appears to be in its chemical makeup in it that helps mitigate some of the consequences of loss of nightly rejuvination your garden needs due to the stabilization. In short, Amped is a relatively benign yet very effective but still not too easy to find, I just happen to live in a town that randomly carries it in ample supply and for far cheaper than the websites ive run across. And those asking about "rave on".... The new one is garbage dont even try... might as well buy flour.

ReplyDeletegot amped it was kind of like brown sugar...smelled like some dirty ass bleachy frito mix.,.once again we are still waiting for an order of 8ballz we ordered on dec29th..it says shipped on there sight but usps says they were notified to expect a package that they have yet to get...on top of what is still owed to my company from an october mess..paid 990.00 for product never recieved and have yet to get that refund...no working number..no response to emails...wickedherbals sucks and im over it..btw i heard those black packs are some bunk shit someone put out there...
ReplyDeleteI got my order today Jan 17th and its a very white fluffy powder. So far it feels pretty good, though this is only the 2nd time I've bought bath salts, with the first time being Eight Ballz which I really liked alot. I dont like how much this one makes your garden burn compared to the nice numbing qualities of Eight Ballz.
ReplyDeleteI got an order dec 23, it was white and good. december 30, brown and VERY hard. however, Jan 19 I received my order (after having complained about my purchase), I was notified that it would be white, and it is. Though it still seems different. Ive purchased it 3 times, and it has been different each in texture, consistency, colour, smell, and even the amount of lady bugs I was able to capture with it.
ReplyDeleteSo the new Amped is packaged with a black and purple label with white powder in my area. Old Amped with the white label, brown clumpy inside and strong as shit when properly applied is now totally gone in my area. Anyone else notice the same this last week?
ReplyDelete*Update* I received a wonderful phone call from wickedherbals yesterday regarding a past Amped order of which I was unhappy with due to the different texture/consistency. It had been a few weeks with many emails sent requesting a credit or replacement. I hadn't heard back from wickedherbals regarding resolution and obviously thought I'd be taking a loss. As mentioned above, I received a sincere phone call yesterday from wickedherbals apologizing for what happened and the delay. They have already sent out a replacement order. My faith has been fully restored in wickedherbals because of this excellent customer service. That alone is enough to keep me as a loyal customer. It shows they do care about resolving issues where something may have gone wrong. I understand no one is perfect and mistakes do happen. But what matters most is how those mistakes are taken care of and corrected.
ReplyDeletei just got a decent amounot of amped and ive only tryed 100mg so far and im not happy with it. ive only tryed a couple of salts so(rock on and pump it) and idk how much i took but i no it wasnt even close to 100mg and they are both good. im thinking about trying to get a refund and yes it was ordered from wickedherbals.com. it came in a long clear tube with a black lid. fine white powder. in each tube there was supposed to be only half a gram and each tube is heaping full. atleast .8 instead of .5. i have no complaints there but based on the reviews ive seen...... idk what the hype is about. so far i feel a little something but no upper at all smh.

ReplyDeleteOrdered February 3 from WHerbals and received it February 6. First try of Amped ever. Really enjoyed post-ban 8 Ballz but outta stock. Been apprehensive to put faith back into the products since the ban but figured wtf not? So here it is now in hand. After 45 minutes in the garden, ladybugs are staying away. Kind of a broom sweeping them away as opposed to shoveling aggressively. Not knowing the quality issue it recently had, I believe there is nothing wrong with todays order. Its effective without uneasiness. Which I like since I'm not removing gnomes from my garden. All in all, worth it.
ReplyDeleteI purchased Amped last night at 10:30 last night. I have been awake since 8:30am yesterday morning. Always bought white rush but saw something more potent and decided to try it. Well worth it. Way stronger but I'm confused about it. Does aamped contain the products made illegal by the DEA in December? And will I receive legal penalties for possessing this item? I have researched all this night and can't come up with a clear answer. Any help on this would be fantastic. I would also like to know if anyone else felt symptoms that I've felt. Please get back ASAP. Thanks
